In the aftermath of global lockdowns, there was a heightened need for authentic social connections beyond the constraints of algorithm-driven social media, which often displayed outdated or irrelevant events. Recognizing this gap, Found was launched to provide a user-friendly platform for easily discovering local events and activities.
Found required an intuitive method for both its internal committee and external event organizers to upload and manage event listings seamlessly. Additionally, the website needed to maintain an engaging, playful aesthetic to keep visitors interested while browsing upcoming events.
We adopted a vibrant, energetic color palette to spark excitement and encourage exploration. We also explored various intuitive interactions, making it easy for visitors to find and share the latest events with minimal effort. For backend management, we integrated Airtable, allowing organizers to submit event details easily through a simple form that automatically updates the website.
The final website emerged as a streamlined, community-centric platform that significantly simplified event discovery by empowering organizers to submit events, and attendees to discover local events organically.
